I really should repaint that dreadfully yellow front door now that Halloween is over.

We were disappointed to see that the park has started clearing trees on "our" path.  Just what are we going to do?  We've been taking the kids to this very path for their annual fall photo since 2005.  Caleb was 7 months old then.  I have liked having the annual picture to show how much they have grown from year to year.  Perhaps, it's time to find "our" new path.

Caleb made this picture in Kindergarten two years ago.  I have kept almost all the kiddos "art" pieces, even dating back to those adorable preschool years.  I  have the hardest time parting with their art.  It drives David crazy, since there are totes and I mean LARGE totes of art, in his home office.   I just happened to be going through one of those totes a couple of weeks ago and came across this piece.   I absolutely love the simplicity of it.  Thus, I was inspired...
