Pumpkin Patch 2008

"PUMPKIN PATCH"

The kids and I found this pumpkin patch last year when we were driving about on a country road in Southern Indiana. We decided to make it a fall tradition to drive out to it each year for pumpkins and pictures. The pumpkin patch is located at a white farmhouse and ran by a sweet, old lady.

"HOOSIER HOSPITALITY"

After the kids ran around at the patch making their pumpkin selections, Caleb stated, as we were loading up in the car, that he wanted a drink of water. All I had, in the car, was their cups from lunch with a little milk left in them. David asked the lady, running the pumpkin patch, for some water. Instead of telling us "no" she couldn't help us, she was kind enough to take the kids cups inside her house, wash them out, and fill them with cold water. For those of you who don't know that's called Hoosier Hospitality.

Pumpkin Patch 2008

Caleb had just woke up from a nap (from the ride over). It took him a few minutes to figure out where he was and what was going on.

picnic at the park

Caleb smiles for the camera. He thinks it is a wonderful treat to get to picnic at the park.

Caleb and I like playing with the self-timer on the camera. The focus is off but I still thought it turned out ok.
