for the birds
Since we've moved we haven't been outside much lately due to all the unpacking, cleaning, and such. So I decided to find a small project outside, each day, that the kids could help with to give them a break from being inside. Today's project was putting out our old birdfeeders. The kids seemed to get a kick out of it. Now when they are stuck inside at least they can go to the window and watch the mix of birds at the feeders. Caleb has been checking the activity often.

Little helpers
After five hours of working on stripping wallpaper the kids decided to help. It wasn't an easy project at all, since it was two layers of wallpaper...one of which had been painted on. What are people thinking? Anyway, the kid's thought it was fun and it entertained them for fifteen minutes or so. It took me 10 hours total to get most of it down. I am not looking forward to finishing it tomorrow.

1st Dentist Appointment
Caleb was all smiles as he headed out the door to his first dentist appointment. Our dentist wouldn't see him till he was at least three years old.

Caleb sitting in the dentist's chair for the first time. He wasn't sure what to think about everything. But was thrilled to be able to watch tv.
Caleb was a perfect first time patient. He followed instructions and stayed calm throughout the whole cleaning. The dentist said everything looked great! And we all are very proud of Caleb!
